POSITION SUMMARY

The Medical Support Specialist (MSS) plays a vital role in delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered clinical support. Reinforcing patient confidence, supporting clinical accuracy, and ensuring a seamless experience throughout the visit. 

This position ensures that every patient interaction reflects the Limitless Way Patient Experience through accurate clinical execution, compassionate care, and strong collaboration with the care team. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a team-first mindset. All team members are expected to support clinic operations and patient needs as they arise, within the scope of their role and licensure.

Monday: 6:50am-1pm

Tuesday: 6:50am- noon

Wednesday: 7:50am-1pm

Thursday: 7:50am-1pm

Friday: 6:50am- noon

Sat & Sun: CLOSED

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care & Clinical Support

  • Assist patients to exam rooms and obtain accurate vitals
  • Perform treatments and administer medications as directed by the Provider
  • Assist with procedures including lab work and specialty treatment
  • Assist with patient check-in, check-out, and scheduling support as needed to maintain clinic flow 
  • Support front office or administrative tasks when clinic demand requires

Patient Communication & Experience

  • Build rapport and provide reassurance during patient interactions
  • Communicate clearly about procedures and next steps
  • Support a comfortable, respectful, and professional environment
  • Educate patients at a high level on treatment processes, next steps, and general expectations (within scope) 
  • Reinforce patient understanding of their care journey and support follow-up questions appropriately 
  • Build rapport with patients to create a comfortable, trusting clinical environment 
  • Engage with patients regarding their experience and support continuity of care 

Clinical Accuracy & Documentation

  • Ensure accurate, timely charting and documentation
  • Follow all protocols for medication administration and lab processing
  • Maintain compliance with clinical standards and safety practices

Clinic Flow & Team Support

  • Support efficient patient flow and minimize wait times
  • Collaborate with Providers, PRCs, and PEMs for seamless care delivery
  • Assist with clinic readiness, stocking, and organization
  • Step in to support other roles as needed to maintain patient flow and clinic efficiency 
  • Assist with cross-functional tasks (within scope of training and licensure) to support team success 
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-first environment where patient needs come first
