Job description

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated part time male Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care in Fontana CA. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about improving the quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care. Candidates will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence within a respectful and caring environment.
Duties
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
  • Support clients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry
  • Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
  • Follow established care plans and adapt to individual client needs while ensuring safety protocols are maintained

Skills
  • Experience with home & community care, assisted living, or long-term care environments preferred
  • Current HCA or CNA certification
  • Knowledge of patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and dementia or Alzheimer's care techniques
  • Ability to assist with complex medical needs such as medication administration and patient monitoring
  • Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance, and hospice or nursing home experience are highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Compassionate attitude with patience for working with seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, and those requiring memory or dementia care
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and work independently in a home or community setting
  • Experience working with diverse populations including residents with disabilities or special needs is a plus
