Male DSP

Looking for a meaningful part-time position where you can make a direct impact in someone's life?

We are seeking a dependable and engaging Male Community Support Professional to work one-on-one with an 18-year-old young man in the Old Bridge area. This role focuses on building independence, confidence, social skills, and community involvement through positive mentorship and supportive guidance.

This is an excellent opportunity for college students, recent graduates, education majors, psychology students, coaches, mentors, paraprofessionals, DSPs, or anyone passionate about helping others achieve their goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide one-on-one support in community settings

  • Assist with developing independent living and social skills

  • Encourage participation in recreational and community activities

  • Serve as a positive role model and mentor

  • Help foster confidence, self-advocacy, and personal growth

What We're Looking For:

  • Male staff preferred based on client preference

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

  • Dependable, patient, and professional

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus but not required
