Job description

Key Account Manager – On-Premise
Mitchell Companies - Chesapeake Beverage

Lead Strategic Partnerships in the Premium Beverage Industry

Are you a strategic relationship-builder who knows how to turn key accounts into long-term partnerships? Chesapeake Beverage is looking for a driven, analytical Key Account Manager – On Premise to manage and grow our presence within major restaurant, bar, hotel, and hospitality accounts.

If you love the energy of the hospitality and beverage world, enjoy building deep customer relationships rather than just transactional sales, and get excited about crafting strategies that move the needle, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

You'll be the trusted advisor behind some of our most important accounts, working directly with restaurant groups, hotel chains, and entertainment venues to expand distribution, secure featured drink programs, and negotiate impactful promotional partnerships. Your day might include presenting a quarterly business review to a major hospitality group, analyzing sales data to uncover a new growth opportunity, negotiating a new menu placement, or collaborating with supplier partners to launch a seasonal promotion.

Why You'll Love This Role

This isn't a transactional sales job. You'll be managing high-value relationships and seeing the direct impact of your strategy on revenue, market share, and brand presence. You'll have ownership over account-specific business plans and budgets, the intellectual challenge of analyzing data to drive real decisions, and a clear path to grow your career within a respected, premium beverage company. If you're strategic, analytical, and motivated by long-term wins rather than quick transactions, you'll fit right in.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in beverage sales, key account management, or CPG
  • Proven track record managing large on-premise accounts and driving revenue growth
  • Experience with restaurants, bars, hotels, or hospitality groups a plus
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Self-starter who can manage strategic plans and budgets independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); CRM experience a plus
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation

A Few Practical Details

This role involves regular travel throughout your assigned territory, so you'll need to be comfortable on the road and in front of customers at account visits and business reviews. Some evenings, weekends, and special events are part of the rhythm of this business, but the strategic ownership and variety make it a rewarding pace.

Ready to Join Us?

If you're ready to bring your strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, and drive for results to a growing team, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and start building your future with Chesapeake Beverage.

Chesapeake Beverage, a Mitchell Companies brand, is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
