Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parking Lot Maintenance Technician to join our team in maintaining the appearance and functionality of 40 commercial parking lots and garages in downtown Austin and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or facility maintenance, who takes pride in delivering high-quality results. The position includes the use of a company-provided work service truck for transportation to job sites, ensuring efficient travel across the service area.
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Perform weed control tasks, including minor weed eating and applying weed killer to weeds growing through concrete surfaces.
  • Conduct trash removal and debris cleanup to maintain clean and professional parking lots.
  • Operate leaf blowers to clear lots of dirt, leaves, and other debris, ensuring a tidy environment.
  • Inspect and report any maintenance issues, contributing to the overall upkeep of 40 parking lots and garages.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while using maintenance equipment and chemicals, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain a consistent schedule to service all assigned parking lots in the downtown Austin and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications: 
  • Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, janitorial services, or similar roles preferred.
  • Familiarity with operating weed eaters, leaf blowers, and applying weed control chemicals safely.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for operating company-provided work service truck).
