Job description

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.Qualifications:

Skills and Knowledge:  Two years of experience that demonstrates knowledge in the applicable combination of trades sufficient to perform the duties of the position.  Possession of a valid state drivers license.  Must possess or be able to obtain applicable government operator license. 

Responsibility:  Works under general supervision.  The majority of the work is performed independently where the incumbent makes decisions based on personal knowledge.

Physical Effort: Lifts, carries, and sets up materials and equipment.  Requires prolonged standing; stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.  Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.

Working Conditions:  Work is performed both inside and outside, and incumbent is exposed to dirt, paint vapors and fumes. Must wear issued protective gear.
