Job description

The System Administrator is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and security of the War Data Platform (WDP) infrastructure. This person will perform hands-on system administration tasks, including managing user accounts, permissions, and system configurations in accordance with established operational policies. This person will implement and maintain system monitoring tools, configure and manage backup and recovery systems, and automate routine administrative tasks using scripting and automation tools. They will conduct regular system health checks, apply system updates and patches to mitigate vulnerabilities, and serve as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software issues. The System Administrator will maintain system documentation, monitor system logs for performance and security anomalies, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 platform availability.
Requirements
  • SECRET Security Clearance Required
  • Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP cerification (for Junior / Journeyman roles)
  • SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, or GFACT certification (for Senior role)
  • We are actively seeking multiple levels:
    • Junior: 0 - 3 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
    • Journeyman: 4 - 7 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
    • Senior: 8+ years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
  • Good communication skills, self-starter mindset.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment:
