Job description

Are an experienced,  all around handy man; do you have maintenance/supervisory experience, and enjoy working with a team?  If so, we have a great opportunity for you!
Famous Tate is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor with experience in facility operations. Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating teams to perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures.  If you have prior supervisory experience in motivating a team of  carpenters/maintenance employees, we encourage you to apply for this position today.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To supervise a team to perform excellent facilities maintenance.
  • Coordinate teams to perform minor building, carpentry, plumbing, drywall, flooring, roof repair
  • Implement preventative maintenance measures
  • Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
  • Perform other maintenance duties as requested
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Better that average computer skills
  • Have great people skills 
  • Drafting skills a plus!
  • English required to read/speak instructions/Bilingual a Plus!
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
  • Clean driver’s license ( NO POINTS) and experience in driving a box truck
  • Able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Experienced in operating a variety of equipment i.e. small hand tools
  • Able to work well with minimal supervision
