Industrial Maintenance Plumber - 1st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm; Monday - Friday)
Location: North Little Rock, AR
Schedule & Shift Information: 1st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm; Monday - Friday)
Position Overview/Position Responsibilities:
This position plays a critical role in supporting a 24/7 operation by maintaining the essential plumbing, utilities, and infrastructure that power our production. You must be a versatile professional, willing to train across multiple roles and systems to ensure the facility runs safely and efficiently.
What We Are Looking For:
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
    • Must be a Licensed Plumber.
    • Additional certifications such as Licensed Boiler Operator (ability to obtain and maintain license through L'Oreal on-site training), Advanced Waste Treatment License, or HVAC experience are highly preferred.
    • Welding certificate preferred
    • Forklift certification (or the ability to obtain it) and Hazmat training (on -site).

Full Job Description:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below listing:
    • Repair and maintain all building utilities including compressed air, steam, water, HVAC, and Industrial Waste Water systems.
    • Maintain and operate the main boiler room and reverse osmosis water systems.
    • Perform routine plant and grounds maintenance tasks as assigned.
    • Operate large equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and work from ladders or elevated platforms.
    • Working knowledge of boiler operations, waste recycling, and reverse osmosis systems.
    • Technical aptitude to repair complex utility systems (air, steam, water, HVAC).
    • Proficiency in computer systems (MS Word, Excel, and Maintenance Management Software).
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
    • Conduct and log hourly equipment readings accurately.
    • Complete hourly and daily paperwork and computer entries using MS Word, Excel, and computer-based maintenance systems.
    • Clean equipment using various chemicals and perform various custodial responsibilities to maintain a world-class facility.
    • Sort and ensure recyclable waste is moved to the proper destinations.
    • Communicate effectively through e-mail and maintain open lines of communication with supervisors and team members.
    • Work as a proactive team member, committed to collective decisions and selfless development of others.
    • Listen for understanding and resolve conflicts directly to maintain a positive team environment.
    • Demonstrate and maintain a thorough safety culture in all actions.
    • Maintain a safe work environment and strictly follow all safety procedures, including the use of required PPE (safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and respirators).
    • Ensure a 100% responsibility mindset, acting as a responsible citizen within the company and community.

Physical Requirements
    • Ability to perform "Hands or Feet" manipulation: handling, reaching, feeling, and fine motor manipulations.
    • Ability to perform gross motor manipulations for machinery assembly and maintenance.
    • Frequent bending, stooping, and the ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
    • Visual and auditory acuity to monitor equipment readings and hear warning alarms.
    • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts in a 24/7 environment, including overtime and weekends as needed.
