Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage contractors and facility projects
  • HVAC, plumbing and electrical
  • Responsible for developing data entry rules for EAM maintenance management system including entering new equipment data, developing PM schedules and working with tool crib attendant to maintain spare parts inventories
  • Develop critical spare parts inventory for facility equipment
  • Pull parts from inventory and kit them for preventive maintenance work
  • Maintain electronic and paper documentation for all building and production equipment
  • Conduct financial analysis on assets and make recommendations for replacement or rebuild based on work order history and spend
  • Support construction/renovation projects
  • Engagement in facilities equipment reliability improvements
  • Establish and coordinate new contractual relationships and services for facility equipment
  • Coordinate and respond to facility requests and measure customer satisfaction
  • Lead reliability and maintainability projects for the facility
  • Lead equipment improvements for the facility increasing equipment availability
  • Support facilities related to capital projects by soliciting installation bids and overseeing contracted work
  • Examine and implement department level metrics
  • Assist with the development and management of the department budget
  • Implement predictive maintenance technologies for facility equipment
  • Develop predictive maintenance procedures
  • Optimize preventative maintenance procedures for efficiency
  • Research and implement equipment reliability procedures to increase equipment availability for the facility
  • Standard hours are Monday through Friday.
  • This position may be required to work weekends and holidays to meet business requirements.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Possess and demonstrate independent thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, value engineer and meet deadlines required
  • 2 years' maintenance technician experience working on equipment
  • Proficient reading blueprint drawings
  • Proficient with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance repair work
  • Willingness to gain knowledge in in equipment reliability practices and procedures
  • Team player
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees, external contractors and regulatory authorities
  • Quality and customer focused
  • Strong project management skills
  • Understand Contract / Professional Services Agreements
  • Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
  • Initiative, independence and sense of urgency
  • Forklift and reach-truck experience preferred
  • Building management systems (BMS) and related equipment

  • Architectural & engineering documents (Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Electrical)

Base Pay Range:

$31.05 - $36.28
