We are looking for a talented Pipe fitter to join our team! This position will be based at our Kohler, Wisconsin location. We specialize in manufacturing high-quality cast iron products. 
 
Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities 

  • Perform Plumbing and Pipefitting tasks including drain blocks, fixture replacement or repair, pipe replacement, pipe fitting project work to customers requests and expectations, utility pipe replacement or repair (water, compressed air, gas, ext.).  

  • Install and maintain plumbing fixtures.  

  • Repair radiators, unit heaters, heat exchangers, and oil coolers.  

  • Install and repair downspouts and drains.  

  • Work from drawings, diagrams, and specifications. Cut, thread, form and install piping, fixtures, valves, gauges, meters, etc. in accordance with requirements and standard practices.  

  • Perform miscellaneous welding as required. Not including pressure vessel or structural steel welding.  

  • Bore holes through cement, wood, sheet metal walls, floors, roofs, whatever necessary to run pipe using tools as core drill, hammer drill, etc.  

  • Make and install brackets and hangers as necessary to install pipe. Use such tools as hand saw, rollers, all necessary metal forming tools.  

  • Be capable of using Computerized Maintenance Management software to create work notifications, look-up and order parts, print work orders, and enter time confirmations. 

  • Perform given tasks within skill assessments of position while exercising safety for oneself and others.  

  • Working conditions include heavy industrial environment, including, but not limited to exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, coolants, oils, noise, heights and confined spaces
