This company is a growing manufacturing company that specializes in the production of testing equipment, chemicals and instruments for water quality analysis and is seeking a knowledgeable Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. They offer solid benefits, PTO, and a family-oriented atmosphere.

Job Details for the Maintenance Mechanic:
  • Pay Rate: $30-39/hr (based on shift and experience)
  • Monday-Friday Schedule: 2nd shift 2:30pm-11pm
  • 2/2/3 Schedule: 2 Week Rotation
    • Week 1: off Mon/Tues, on Weds/Thurs, off Fri/Sat/Sun
    • Week 1: off Mon/Tues, on Weds/Thurs, off Fri/Sat/Sun
  • Available Hours:
    • 1st Shift: 6:30am-6:45pm
    • 2nd Shift: 6:30pm-6:45am
  • Full benefits and 401k
  • Direct hire opportunity (not contracted or temp)
Job Responsibilities & Description for the Maintenance Mechanic:
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing machinery including robotics as well as PLC- controlled equipment
  • Replace parts, perform upgrades, complete preventative maintenance, and related electrical repairs/diagnostics as required
  • Facilities maintenance and repairs including repairs and upgrades to electrical, plumbing, and some HVAC as required
  • Troubleshoot and perform modifications to PLC and HMI systems
  • Operate production machinery on an as needed basis
Job Requirements for the Maintenance Maintenance:
  • Must have some knowledge of PLC systems and/or PLC operated plant equipment
  • Must have superior troubleshooting for manufacturing machinery and/or related electrical systems
  • Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a team setting
  • Must be willing and able to assist in operating manufacturing machinery as needed in addition to maintenance tasks
  • Must be able to walk, climb, kneel, stoop, bend, drive, and lift up to 50 lbs
