Job description

Reports To:
Maintenance Manager
Description:
Directs the activities of maintenance operations in a timely and efficient manner in order to support plant operations.
Directs the work of group leaders, maintenance technicians and HVAC maintenance technicians within the department.
Responsibilities:
  • Must know all Safety Requirements, Departmental and Plant Wide.
  • Must be able to maintain departmental 5-S for assigned areas and equipment.
  • Must be able to complete required departmental paper work. Have general knowledge of computer software and maintenance work order system.
  • Supervises the activities of group leaders and maintenance technicians.
  • Coordinates with other departments to provide services and follows up to assure completion.
  • Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices.
  • Assure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and all preventative maintenance is performed to assure

efficient operations.
  • Assure efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices.
  • Responsible for administering employee performance evaluations and recommendations of wage increases.
  • Establish and maintain good employee and adherence to proper judicious disciplinary measures when require.
  • Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.

Education:
  • High School graduate or GED with additional specialized education or training.

Experience:
  • Three to five years of supervisory related experience.

Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics
