Great Oaks Landscape Associates, located in Novi, Michigan, is a recognized leader in the industry for its landscape design-build and maintenance expertise. Our maintenance division operates two seasons: traditional Spring through Fall (April 1 December 1) and the snow season (December 1 March 31). We are looking for a Maintenance Project Manager to join our management team. This position will be responsible for managing a portfolio of landscape maintenance contracts for both seasons, maximizing customer satisfaction, and ensuring delivery of quality services to our clients. The project manager is responsible for achieving set goals for revenue, profitability and contract renewals through effective management and coordination of personnel, equipment and facility resources, and employee training and development. Responsibilities include:Direct maintenance operationsManage operating budget - responsible for monitoring operation expenses, review financial reports and seek ways to improve the bottom line for job (s)Develop and coordinate plans for the efficient use of personnel and resourcesMonitor and analyze all opportunities to cut costs and improve efficienciesSchedule landscape maintenance crews and conduct site inspections to evaluate services performed to company standardsCoordinate multiple crews and subcontractors on job sitesManage and resolve personnel issuesDevelop long-term relationship with clients to ensure open line of communicationManage client relations and resolve issues in a timely mannerConduct routine training sessions to maximize production and efficiencyManage training materials and proceduresPromote high standards for customer service, develop a safety culture and create a positive team environmentLead, train and develop employeesTo be considered as a candidate for the position, the following qualifications are required.Minimum of two (2) years experience as a Project Manager, directing landscape or maintenance crewsStrong knowledge of local plant materials, horticultural practicesHigh school diploma required; college degree (Associate's, Bachelor's) preferredProficient in use of Microsoft OfficeStrong organizational and verbal/written communication skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced work environmentBilingual (English-Spanish) is a plus
