Job description

About the role:
As a Maintenance Mechanic AA, you will perform all maintenance responsibilities of lower Maintenance pay grades to support manufacturing operations. Maintain production and quality priorities and milestones by supporting operations of critical machinery and mechanical equipment paths.
You will report to the Maintenance Manager and be located at Newington, NH. You will support this role 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operation of CNC machinery, different welding machines and apparatus, pump test loop by completing preventive maintenance requirements and corrective maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot different problems on assigned machinery and equipment by interpreting diagrams and sketches.
  • Use operations manuals, specific manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot. Observe mechanical devices in operation and use measuring and other test equipment to troubleshoot.
  • Remove defective electro/mechanical components by dismantling devices occasionally using cranes and hoists.
  • Analyze and program complex CNC controls and PLCs for troubleshooting and operational purposes
  • Install/retrofit and debug complex CNC control systems through the use of advanced technical and electronic techniques
  • Maintain equipment, parts and supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed equipment, parts, supplies; place and expedite orders.
  • Provide technical maintenance information by answering requests.
  • Prepare technical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends when needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-year Certificate program in Electronics Engineering or PLC Maintenance or associate's degree in Electronics Engineering,
  • 12 years equivalent of Technical or Electronic Maintenance experience in an industrial environment
  • 5 years of advanced Technical or Electronics Maintenance experience required.
  • Experience with Maintenance hand tools and portable power tools is necessary.
  • We require familiarity with protective equipment and shop equipment additionally. This includes machines such as power saws, drills, or hydraulic presses, and milling machines and lathes. Band saws, pipe threading machines, arc and gas welding and cutting equipment are also important. Furthermore, knowledge of meters, testers, switches, electric outlet and junction boxes, and transformers is necessary. Simple metering devices, such as digital multimeter, oscilloscopes, and thermal imagery equipment, are also crucial. Understanding circuit tracking meters and megohmmeters, and fiber optic signal transmission, load banks, and thermal measurement devices, is necessary .
  • Fluency with blueprints, schematics, ladder diagrams and PLC logic.
  • Advanced familiarity with CNC programming languages
