The Granite Mountain Quarries Plant 1 in Little Rock, Arkansas is currently recruiting for Welder Helper - Night. Only on-line applicants will be considered / evaluated. Plant Welder Helper-Night Classification Description:Responsible for helping maintenance and fabrication welding associated with aggregate plant operations. Plant would include conveyors, stackers, bins, chutes, and all other associated location structures and equipment such as crusher platforms, shakers, etc. Ability to safely navigate structures by climbing stairs and ladders and walking on elevated structures is part of the daily responsibilities. Ability to work with maintenance team and welding team safely and positively during the night shift is part of the daily responsibilities. Plant Welder Helper - Night will perform other tasks as required by business necessity. The Welder Helper - Night performs other tasks as required by business necessity. The Plant Welder Helper - Night is a strenuous position and requires carrying up to 50 pounds for approximately 600' (with breaks) which would gain elevation on conveyors and stackers, including 45 or more continuous steps. The Plant Welder Helper - Night position duties are required in all weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold conditions as well as rain (all precipitation) and even possibly on catwalk or platforms that contain ice, especially at night. The Welder Helper will be required to carry welding equipment up stairs. General aggregate plant maintenance housekeeping is part of the daily responsibilities.Basic Requirements:Are you currently employed with Granite Mountain Quarries?
