The Role:
We're looking for a hands-on, solution-driven Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance efforts of our mill machinery and mechanical equipment. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime, and supporting farm success behind the scenes.
What a Day in the Life Looks Like:
Machinery Repair and Electrical Maintenance
  • Perform emergency and routine repairs to maintain uptime
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics to solve electrical issues
  • Minor truck and trailer repairs as needed

Preventive Maintenance and Troubleshooting
  • Create and execute preventative maintenance plans
  • Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems to prevent breakdowns

Maintenance Logging
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections
  • Use data to improve reliability and performance

Schedule: Typical hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.4 days at Sparta Mill & 1 day at Chippewa Falls Mill (must be flexible to go to Chippewa Falls for emergencies as needed)
What You Bring:
  • 1+ year experience in industrial, repair, millwright, or ag equipment maintenance
  • Two-year Technical Degree in a maintenance-related area or equivalent work experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with electrical schematics
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
