Reports to: Associate Director of Athletics
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary:
The Athletic Department is offering a seasonal job opportunity in Event Management working closely with athletic team operations. Candidates must be available for 1 to 3 evenings a week or on a Saturday during the sport season, with typical work hours ranging from 3;00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Exact shift frequency, days, and times will vary based on the specific sport you are hired to assist with.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Provides customer service, direct leadership, and general supervision of score table
  • Assists athletic staff with game day set-up and take-down
  • Provides Scorekeeping and Clock operation for games in the Pumadome
  • Maintains and operates the proper use of equipment and supplies
  • Enforces facility and equipment rules
  • Is familiar with and complies with all policies and regulations as put forth in the school's documents
  • Since safety and security are everyone's responsibility, takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, faculty, staff, equipment, materials and facilities
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Compensation:
  • Employees are paid the last working day of each month
  • Employees are paid at a rate of $25.00 per hour

Required Education, Training and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain valid First Aid/CPR card

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be dependable
  • General knowledge of the sport you will be working
  • Ability to operate scorebook
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
