Job description

  • Supervise the safe operation and maintenance of the facility high pressure steam system. 
  • Complete and maintain all steam system and utility documentation required for regulatory purposes
  • Monitor and maintain all facility utility services (HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, future refrigeration system)
  • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance program software for process and utility equipment
  • Complete or facilitate preventative maintenance of all process and utility equipment
  • Lead troubleshooting and repair of equipment as required to maximize operating efficiency of facility
  • Manage inventory of critical spare parts on site.
  • Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned
  • Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
  • Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks etc.)
