This role is perfect for someone who enjoys diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment while working in a stable, well-equipped shop environment.


Duties & Responsibilities

Our Mechanics are responsible for repairing and refurbishing fusion equipment in a distribution plant by performing the following duties:

  • Diagnose, maintain and repair fusion equipment including; small diesel/gas engines, generators, electrical circuits and hydraulic systems
  • Perform quality inspections of rental fusion equipment prior to returning to service
  • Maintain records of service, repairs and scheduled maintenance of rental fusion equipment
  • Inspect and diagnose customer owned equipment to prepare repair quotes
  • Communicate with maintenance coordinator and service advisors on status of down equipment and customer repairs
  • Report machine defects, damages and malfunctions
  • Repair and Service fabrication shop equipment as needed
  • Prepare equipment for shipping

Qualifications

What You need to succeed:

  • 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, automotive repair, or mechanical service
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Basic computer skills (email, order entry, parts lookup)
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and performing standing and climbing tasks regularly
