Job description

General Maintenance provides facility housekeeping support, internally and externally in a timely manner to support JCPenney stores and meet our customer's expectations.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintains building, office, etc., in a sanitary, clean, safe and orderly condition by:\t

    • Sweeping/mopping/scrubbing/vacuuming
    • \t\t
    • Dusting/polishing
    • \t\t
    • Collecting and disposing of rubbish and trash.

  • Performs minor maintenance, such as replacing lights, painting and assembling fixtures.

  • Operates mobile cleaning equipment, trash processing equipment and grounds care equipment.

  • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment used.

  • Performs miscellaneous activities, such as grounds care.
  • \t
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned.
