Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of our residential treatment facility. This role is responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, safety checks, and supporting compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. HVAC experience is strongly preferred.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance across residential and clinical buildings

  • Complete repairs related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and general upkeep

  • Assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining HVAC systems

  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs

  • Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and urgent issues

  • Support compliance with Health Department, Fire Department, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation

  • Assist with grounds upkeep and exterior maintenance as needed

  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours or emergency maintenance


Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience (residential, healthcare, hospitality, or institutional preferred)

  • Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor

  • Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record
