Maintenance Assistant

Magnolia Healthcare & Rehabilitation is looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Assistant to join our team. If you’re someone who can fix things, stay organized, and take pride in keeping a building safe and running smoothly — we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do:
  • Complete daily maintenance requests throughout the facility

  • Perform basic repairs (lights, plumbing, doors, beds, etc.)

  • Assist with painting, patching, and general upkeep

  • Help prepare rooms for new admissions/discharges

  • Maintain grounds and outdoor areas as needed

  • Support preventative maintenance programs

  • Ensure the building remains safe, clean, and compliant

  • Work closely with nursing and leadership to address issues quickly

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous maintenance experience preferred (healthcare or LTC a plus)

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs

  • Ability to use tools and handle physical work (lifting, bending, ladders)
