What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Mainframe Migration Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Mainframe Migration Manager, you need expertise in mainframe systems, migration methodologies, and project management, typically backed by a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with tools like IBM z/OS, migration automation platforms, and certifications such as PMP or AWS Migration are often required.
