Mainframe Assembler Developer

Introduction: As a Mainframe Assembler Developer, you will be responsible for developing and supporting IBM Mainframe applications. This role will require hands-on expertise in IBM Assembler (HLASM) programming, JCL development, and troubleshooting, among other key skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain IBM Mainframe applications
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in the applications
  • Work with GDGs and batch processing
  • Utilize Connect:Direct (NDM) for file transfers
  • Implement changes using ISPW or equivalent change management tools
  • Manage scheduling using CA7
  • Work in a TSO/ISPF environment
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on project requirements
Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe application development and production support
  • Strong hands-on expertise in IBM Assembler (HLASM) programming
  • Experience with JCL development and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of GDGs and batch processing
  • Proven experience with Connect:Direct (NDM)
  • Experience with ISPW or equivalent change management tools
  • Experience with CA7 scheduling
  • Proficiency in working in a TSO/ISPF environment
  • Experience with GitHub CoPilot

Preferred Qualifications:
