Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Mainframe Automation Consultant to manage and administer mainframe automation. The role involves developing automation frameworks, guiding client teams on best practices, and identifying new automation opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Interact with client team and guide them on best practices.
• Develop automation framework for Testing Mainframe Infrastructure components.
• Identify new areas where automation can be implemented to enable value add.
• IT IS_AMS_Mainframe_System_Software_Administration.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10+ Years of experience
• Strong knowledge in mainframe hardware, operation & z/os maintenance, DB2, CICS & MF MQ
• Understanding in mainframe SMPE, dysprosium testing
• Automation knowledge - Rexx programming
• Connectivity test from MF - Rexx programming + socket calls
• Responsible to understand the current IVPs/ logs files to determine/ provide feedback to the mainframe on any additional ways to validate the MF changes/ upgrade
• Work with MF team to coordinate with the app dev and the corresponding ETE functional test teams to have them run their regression test for the MF changes / upgrades
• Interact with client team and guide them on best practices
• Develop automation framework for Testing Mainframe Infrastructure components
• Identify new areas where automation can be implemented to enable value add
