Branch Mail Courier โ€“ On Call Only

Mail Services Employment Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Location: Various F&M Bank Locations

Supervises Others: No Schedule: As needed, up to 6 hours per shift

Salary: $20.00 (Commensurate with experience and qualifications)

F&M Bank's Mail Courier โ€“ Full-Time is responsible for the transportation of Bank-related materials and supplies to and from Bank branches, departments, and the post office in a safe and secure manner. This position is for a courier who can assist on a full-time basis.

  • The Courier is responsible for back-up to other couriers and the mail services clerk as needed
  • The Courier ensures the Bank's vehicle is in safe running order and that all applicable maintenance is performed within scheduled timelines

  • A reliable, time-sensitive individual who can provide superb and friendly service when picking-up and delivering all materials or supplies to branches, departments, and/or the post office
  • Someone who is trustworthy, who works under high ethical standards, and has the ability to exercise good, sound judgment
  • A proactive person who recognizes the priorities of others and their departments
  • An organized individual who can follow detailed directions, complete multiple tasks simultaneously, and accurately process mail and deliveries

  • Successful completion of a credit check is a condition of employment
  • Minimum of a high school diploma, and/or, previous experience as a courier
  • A valid California Driver's License and good DMV record (no major citations in 5 years and no more than 3 1-point violations in a 3-year period)
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs including frequently lifting and handling boxes or bags
  • Ability to drive a vehicle for many hours under a variety of road and weather conditions
