Summary

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mail Room / Shipping Associate to support mail order fulfillment, packaging, and shipping operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone with prior hands-on experience in shipping, fulfillment, mail room, or warehouse operations who can step in quickly with minimal training. The right candidate will be comfortable processing mail orders, picking and packing items accurately, preparing shipments, and ensuring outgoing packages are handled efficiently and on time.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Mail Order Fulfillment
    • Process mail orders accurately and efficiently from order receipt through shipment
    • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing customer orders in accordance with shipping requirements
    • Verify order details, product quantities, and shipping information before packaging
    • Ensure all mail orders are packaged securely and labeled correctly for shipment
    • Meet daily shipping and fulfillment deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Packaging & Shipping
    • Prepare packages for shipment using appropriate packing materials and methods
    • Generate or apply shipping labels, packing slips, and other required shipping documentation
    • Coordinate outgoing shipments through approved shipping carriers and internal processes
    • Track, organize, and stage completed orders for pickup or dispatch
    • Assist in resolving shipping errors, package discrepancies, or damaged shipments as needed
