Job description

Opening its doors over 45 years ago, FSSI is a leading document outsourcing company servicing Fortune 500 companies in the financial, banking, insurance and billing industries across the U.S.

FSSI East is currently looking for an Operations Support to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This position is responsible for supporting warehouse operations while serving as the primary driver for daily deliveries. Major duties include preparing pallets and shipments for pickup, driving company vehicles for mail and material transport, and assisting with warehouse and building upkeep as needed. This position may also serve as a backup for warehouse duties, including forklift operation, when required.

Morning shift: Monday -Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm (Eastern time)

Overtime is scheduled as needed, and could require coming in earlier, staying later, and working weekend shifts during high-volume production cycles.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Assist or provide coverage in Mailing, Custom Insert, Digital Printing Services, and Quality Assurance. These departments will require successful and accurate operation of large printing and mailing equipment.
  • Moving stock from warehouse to assigned location.
  • Warehouse Shipping and Receiving.
  • Travel to and from Post Office to deliver mail.
  • Daily Production/Warehouse cleanup.
  • Assist with Inventory cycle counts.
  • Copying and scanning of documentation.
  • Follow company policies and safety regulations.
  • Report unsafe facility and vehicle issues to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned dependent on the changing needs of the organization.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, and frequently working 10 or more hours per day, is required on a recurring basis.

Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1+ years driving experience without moving violations or safety concerns; experience operating company vehicles is preferred. Candidate must meet company insurance requirements; a motor vehicle report will be conducted prior to hire.
  • Class E Florida driver's license and personal auto insurance is required.
  • Forklift experience preferred. Training will be provided.
  • Must be well organized and have strong time management skills.
  • Must handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and/or fingers to grasp, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear; stand, walk, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift/move up to 40 pounds independently. Specific vision required by this job include close, distant, and peripheral vision, and focus adjustments. Steel-toe footwear must be worn while on the job site at all times regardless of the presence of a hazard.
