About the Role:
The Driver plays a pivotal role in our operations, responsible for the timely and safe transportation of correspondence and materials between specified locations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and professionalism in representing the company. The Driver must adhere to designated timelines while ensuring the integrity of delivered materials and maintaining positive client relationships.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and receive materials within designated timelines, following prescribed routes and schedules.
  • Load and unload materials at designated locations for processing, ensuring proper handling and security.
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of materials delivered and received, accurately documenting all transactions.
  • Communicate with management regarding daily volumes delivered and received, providing updates as needed.
  • Uphold positive client relationships and represent the company in a professional manner during interactions.
  • Monitor vehicle maintenance, complete maintenance logs, and promptly report any mechanical issues to management to ensure vehicle safety and longevity.
  • Manage purchase card and expense reports related to the SourceHOV vehicle, including gas and maintenance expenses.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and rules of the road, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
  • Report any accidents promptly to management and follow company procedures for incident reporting.
  • Demonstrate physical capability to lift containers weighing 20 - 50 pounds and the ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management to support operational needs.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Compliance with company driving policies, as well as local, state, and federal driving regulations.
  • Ability to drive a van with a safe driving record.
  • Minimum of one year experience driving similar sized vehicles.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with good time management skills.
  • Ability to read a map and understand directions.

Pay Disclosure:
  • "The pay range for this position starts at $13- $13.50 per hour, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered."
