Hospital Maternal Fetal Medicine and Service Line Leader Opportunity
Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist Opportunity:
Mercy Heath Physicians Youngstown is seeking a Hospital and Practice MFM specialist to join our growing Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as part of the Women's Service Line. We are open to physicians interested in providing telehealth MFM services.
You will partner with a team of other MFMs to guide development of standards for antepartum and intrapartum care as well as to educate, supervise and provide direct care for patients served by Women's Services. Candidates will have dedicated time to participate in collaborative role relative to interests in practice, research and education.
  • As one of the largest providers of Level III obstetrical services in the state and the largest provider of obstetrics in Mahoning Valley, St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital welcomes more than 3400 babies each year and St. Joseph Warren Hospital more than 1200 babies each year.

Physician will provide High Risk Perinatology services in the practices and in the hospital. Opportunities for service line growth, academic oversight of medical students and Family Medicine/ Emergency residents.
Requirements:
  • Board certified/eligible at time of employment
  • Minimum of two years of Perinatology and OB/GYN experience
  • Licensed in the state of OH by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS and NRP for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
  • Other requirements include a willingness to drive patient safety and quality initiatives as required by the Mercy Health Women's Service Line Operations Committee, Ohio Department of Health and The Joint Commission.
