Madera Community Hospital
Located in the heart of Central California, Madera Community Hospital is a General Acute Care, private, not-for-profit hospital dedicated to improving and maintaining the health and wellness of residents throughout the Central Valley. We are committed to identifying and serving our community's needs with compassion, concern, care and safety for every patient. Madera Community Hospital is a growing acute care facility seeking talented individuals with a drive to provide quality care and dedicated to making a difference in our community.
Position Summary:
The Physician Assistant provides medical care including medical screening examinations and evaluations in the Emergency Department under the direction of the ER Medical Director. Performs accurate initial history and physical exam. Counsels/educates patients, promotes/delivers quality patient care in emergency department setting.
Position will be for 1099 employment.
Completion of Madera Community Hospital Medical Staff Credentialing Application Process for Allied Health Medical Staff Privileges prior to first day of work and every two years thereafter. The Granting of privileges includes approval from the Medical Staff and concurrent Board of Trustees approval per the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of each.
Qualifications:
Requires Current State of California Physician Assistant License, Current PA-C, Current DEA License.
Current American Heart Association BCLS certificate, ACLS and PALS certificates.
