FRAISE CAFE

Fullerton, CA

$18 - $20/hr

Part-time

Posted 15 days ago

Job description

Fraise Cafe is a French-inspired café in Fullerton. We were recently named one of Yelp’s Top 100 Coffee Shops in America. We are known for our authentic Parisian crêpes with a California renewal, high-quality espresso program, and a warm, "homey" atmosphere. We are looking for a serious, long-term team member who takes pride in their craft and wants to grow with an award-winning local business.
The Role: This is a dynamic, hybrid role. You will be responsible for crafting third-wave coffee and matcha beverages and preparing our signature sweet and savory crepes. We are not looking for short-term seasonal help. We are looking for a professional who wants to master our menu and become a core part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Coffee Station:
o Dial in espresso daily to ensure perfect extraction.
o Steam milk to a velvety micro-foam consistency suitable for latte art.
o Prepare specialty drinks (e.g., Caramel Lattes, Strawberry Basil Lemonades) with consistency and speed.

Crepe Station:
o Master the art of spreading crepe batter to achieve a thin, even, and golden cook.
o Assemble savory and sweet crepes with precise ingredient distribution.
o Maintain a clean and organized station during high-volume rushes.
• Customer Experience:
o Provide friendly, genuine service that makes guests feel at home.
o Educate customers on our menu and make recommendations based on their tastes.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1+ year of specialty coffee experience (manual espresso machine) and/or line cook experience.

• Latte Art: Ability to pour basic latte art (hearts/rosettas) is highly preferred. ( will train)
• Cleaning: Opening or closing clean up, and washing dishes.

• Reliability: Punctual and looking for stable, long-term employment (1+ years).
• Availability: Must be available weekends (our busiest days).

What We Offer:

• Competitive Pay: Hourly wage plus generous tips.
• Stability: A respectful, drama-free work environment with a supportive management team.
• Perks: Shift meals (yes, that includes crêpes!) and coffee.
• Growth: Significant potential to grow as we expand.
