Madera Auto Center is seeking a motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven Used Car Salesperson to join our growing sales team. This position is responsible for assisting customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process, building lasting customer relationships, and achieving individual sales goals while delivering an exceptional buying experience. The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about helping customers find the right vehicle.

Requirements

Sales & Customer Service

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. 
  • Assist customers in selecting vehicles that best meet their needs and budget. 
  • Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and demonstrate vehicle features and benefits. 
  • Accompany customers on test drives and answer questions throughout the sales process. 
  • Build rapport with customers to create a positive dealership experience. 
  • Follow up with prospective and previous customers to generate repeat and referral business. 

Sales Performance

  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals and dealership objectives. 
  • Maintain knowledge of current inventory, pricing, promotions, and financing options. 
  • Accurately complete sales paperwork and ensure all required documentation is obtained. 
  • Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure a smooth vehicle delivery process. 
  • Utilize dealership CRM systems to manage customer leads and maintain accurate records. 

Product Knowledge

  • Stay informed on used vehicle inventory, market trends, and competitor offerings. 
  • Understand available warranties, service contracts, and protection products. 
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and dealership meetings. 

General Duties

  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude. 
  • Ensure vehicles are properly displayed and ready for customer presentation. 
  • Provide outstanding customer service before, during, and after the sale. 
  • Work collaboratively with sales managers and other dealership departments. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive sales experience preferred, but not required. 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills. 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills. 
  • Basic computer skills and experience with CRM systems preferred. 
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. 
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. 

High school diploma or equivalent required.
