Pay Range:
From $15 - $19 , based on experience + tips
Job Summary:
As a Cook, you will be preparing food to our high-quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace. You will cook food to order by following provided recipes and uphold the Buona standard.
Responsibilities:
  • Learn the following positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep
  • Follow recipes and food preparation processes properly such as cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting and slicing
  • Maintain appropriate portion control and monitoring food levels on the line
  • Prepare quality food that meets our Buona standards
  • Ensure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guests
  • Restock food line
  • Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety
  • Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders
  • Handle raw and finished waste according to established procedures
  • Act with a sense of urgency with all guests, whether dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru
  • Washing cookware and utensils and cleaning equipment as assigned
  • Cleaning and sanitizing as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Excellent communication and positive attitude
  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must obtain Food Handler certificate
  • Must work to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
