We have immediate requirement with one of our customer in Santa Clara, CA..
Role: Technical Writer,
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: Long Term
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate would be able to recommend and implement ways to streamline and automate our current systems. They would be responsible for helping to deploy, improve, and maintain our technical documentation website. Import projects, build, and publish MadCap Flare. Be able to work under pressure and meet release deadlines.
  • Write documentation for advanced users, including reference docs and developer guides. Emphasize technical accuracy and bring clarity for complex processes.
  • Be able to work with translation team and implement translated content into documentation.
  • Work with the infrastructure team to import projects, build, and publish MadCap Flare using Git and Jenkins
  • Fix issues, such as broken links or other build errors.
  • Review documentation for adherence to the style guide and to Client standards.
  • Use Jira to track issues.
  • Recommend and implement automation processes using tools such as PowerShell.
  • Mentor and train new writers to the team.
  • SEO experience is a plus.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, technical writing, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience. 8+ years' experience in technical documentation, and/or developer outreach/technology partner management roles preferred.
  • Experience documenting networking and security technologies.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Visio, MadCap Flare, Git, and PowerShell.
  • Experience using Git to manage asynchronous collaboration across large teams
  • Demonstrate experience in writing and proofreading of content, especially technology-related content.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to handle stressful, time-critical projects and deliver great user outcomes.
