  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

  • Employment: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt

  • Work arrangement: Onsite

About the Role

Lead the team. Solve the problems. Keep production running.

As a Production Lead at MacLean-Fogg, you will provide hands-on leadership for our 2nd-shift injection molding team. You will coordinate daily production, help employees succeed, respond to equipment and process issues, and keep work moving safely and efficiently.

This role is a strong fit for someone who understands injection molding, enjoys troubleshooting, and is ready to combine technical expertise with day-to-day team leadership.

What You Will Do as a Production Lead
  • Lead, support, and coordinate production employees throughout the shift

  • Set daily priorities and help the team meet safety, quality, delivery, and production goals

  • Respond to machine alarms, process interruptions, and quality concerns

  • Perform or support mold and equipment setups

  • Troubleshoot molding processes, production equipment, and part-quality issues

  • Train and mentor employees on procedures, equipment, quality standards, and safe work practices

  • Maintain clear communication with management and the incoming shift

  • Complete production records and other required documentation accurately and on time

  • Support attendance tracking, employee coaching, and performance discussions

  • Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least three years of injection molding manufacturing experience

  • Previous experience as a team lead, trainer, shift lead, or supervisor

  • Experience with mold or equipment setups

  • Experience troubleshooting molding processes and production concerns

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work onsite in Whitewater during the full 2nd-shift schedule

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical school, apprenticeship, or other manufacturing training

  • ERP or manufacturing-system experience

  • Experience training and developing production employees

  • Continuous improvement experience

Schedule and Work Environment

This is a hands-on manufacturing role performed onsite at our Whitewater facility. The position regularly works around injection molding equipment and requires active involvement on the production floor.
