Job description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist role in Gresham, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities:

· Set up, operate, and program CNC machines to produce precision parts for aerospace applications, ensuring compliance with specifications and blueprints.
· Monitor CNC machine operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to production schedules.
· Perform quality checks on machined parts using precision measurement tools to ensure compliance with aerospace tolerances and standards.
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with workplace safety standards.
· Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and accurate inventory tracking.
· Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and troubleshoot any operational challenges.
· Accurately document production processes, including machine settings, tool changes, and output data.
· Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
· Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing is required.
· Proven experience in producing precision parts for aerospace applications, with knowledge of aerospace materials and tolerances.
· Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
· Flexibility to work swing shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
· Knowledge of safety regulations and aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100) is a plus, but training will be provided.
