Join a stable, growing manufacturing company where precision matters, strong work is recognized, and experienced machinists have the opportunity to build a long-term career. The CNC Machinist will set up, program, and operate CNC equipment to produce precision components from detailed engineering specifications, working with lathes, mills, and grinders while machining challenging materials including Inconel, Super Duplex, and Hastelloy C. The ideal candidate is an experienced, hands-on machinist who understands G and M code, knows how to make smart adjustments at the machine, and takes ownership of producing accurate work. This team values people who show up ready to work, communicate openly, take initiative, and contribute ideas that make the operation stronger.
Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and other machining equipment to produce precision components
  • Review daily work orders, blueprints and setup sheets to determine tooling, programming and machining requirements
  • Load programs, select and install proper tooling, touch off tools, and make necessary program edits to achieve required specifications
  • Apply working knowledge of G and M code and conversational programming to support efficient, accurate machining
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, CAD files, engineering specifications and dimensional requirements
  • Determine appropriate speeds and feeds for a variety of materials, including exotic alloys such as Inconel, Super Duplex and Hastelloy C
  • Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and equipment maintenance initiatives while maintaining a safe, organized work environment

Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience with demonstrated longevity and progression
  • Strong working knowledge of G and M code and conversational programming
  • Experience setting up and operating CNC equipment with the ability to troubleshoot and edit programs as needed
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, CAD files and engineering specifications
  • Strong understanding of tooling, speeds, feeds and machining requirements across different materials
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and intermediate Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Self-starter mentality with strong attention to detail, reliability, communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Benefits
  • Medical coverage plus dental and vision coverage
  • 401(k) eligibility
  • 2 weeks of vacation, 1 personal day and 40 hours of sick time
  • 11 paid holidays plus one floating holiday
  • Employer-paid basic life insurance, AD&D, short-term disability and long-term disability coverage, additional voluntary life insurance options available

If you are a skilled CNC Machinist who takes pride in precision, wants to work with challenging materials and is looking for a company where you can build a lasting career, apply today.
