Job description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and components. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and committed to producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and related equipment
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
  • Align and secure fixtures, tooling, and materials
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust feeds and speeds as required
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose machine malfunctions; perform routine maintenance as needed
  • Deburr and finish completed parts
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Comply with all company safety and environmental policies
