Job description

Job Summary: Subject Matter Expert who leads the design, development and delivery of automation solutions. Leverages deep expertise in specific areas while maintaining a strong understanding of broader engineering principles. Provides mentorship to other engineers and guides team to successfully deliver project solutions.

Continually refines expertise and stays at the forefront of industry trends and technological advancements. Responsibilities and Duties: Lead the design, development and technical support of automation solutions adhering to Catalyx, and industry standards. Oversee the installation, commissioning, and qualification, and support of automation solutions.

Define and assign engineering tasks, ensuring efficient execution of technical work. Identify and own the resolution of complex technical issues in automation solutions. Assist in identifying and mitigating technical risks and addressing training gaps.

Approve technical specifications, drawings, bills of material, and documents. Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to other engineers with best practices and standards in mind. Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure successful project execution, focusing on technical scope delivery while the PM oversees schedule and budget.

Support proposal efforts by providing technical expertise to define the scope and effort in collaboration with the presales team. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering discipline. Certifications in relevant automation platforms preferred.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
