Job description

New Concept Technology is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support our growing operations serving the automotive and medical device industries. This role plays a key part in developing and improving manufacturing processes, including automation, vision inspection systems, injection molding, metal stamping, and assembly.

Requirements
  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for injection molding, metal stamping, automated assembly, and secondary operations.
  • Support and implement automation solutions, including robotics and integrated production equipment.
  • Develop and maintain machine vision inspection systems for in-process and final quality verification.
  • Lead or support new product introductions (NPI), including equipment selection, line layout, and process validation.
  • Analyze production data to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and optimize throughput.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and automated systems to minimize downtime.
  • Partner with Production and Quality teams on PFMEAs, control plans, PPAPs, validations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop work instructions and standardized manufacturing processes.
  • Support lean manufacturing and root cause analysis efforts to drive ongoing improvement.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of manufacturing engineering experience in precision manufacturing, automotive, or medical device environments.
  • Experience with automation and automated assembly systems.
  • Hands-on experience with vision inspection systems.
  • Working knowledge of injection molding and metal stamping processes.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Experience in regulated or quality-driven manufacturing environments (ISO 13485, IATF 16949, or similar preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills.
