Screw Machine - Set Up Operator


Looking for Experienced Screw Machine Set-Up Operators with experience with Acmes, New Britains, Euroturns, and Davenport machines to join our team in Rochester Hills, MI, US.

Compensation:

$22 - $30 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate two screw machines, ensuring optimal performance and precision.
  • Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning to keep machines in top condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs and machine settings for quality assurance.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in operating multi-spindle screw machines, including Acmes, New Britains, Euroturns, and Davenports.
  • Ability to change and grind form tools, drills, and cutoffs with precision.
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators to verify part specifications.
