Lead the Floor. Drive Production. Set the Standard.


Allen Industries is seeking a hands-on Shop Foreman to lead daily production operations, supervise shop personnel, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in developing teams, solving problems, and delivering results. PREFER SOMEONE WITH SIGN INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE!


What You’ll Do

Leadership & Production Oversight

  • Supervise and direct daily shop operations and workforce activities
  • Train, coach, and develop production employees
  • Assign work, manage schedules, and ensure deadlines are met
  • Collaborate with project managers, sales, and clients to support production needs
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications
  • Serve as a Shop Safety Coordinator and lead by example
  • Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies
  • Conduct safety training, inspections, and audits
  • Oversee maintenance and proper use of tools and shop equipment
  • Monitor finished goods and inventory levels


What We’re Looking For

  • Sign Industry experience preferred; but not required
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication, construction methods, and shop operations
  • Experience operating shear/brake equipment and working with hand tools
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive productivity
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • High attention to detail and organization


Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Manufacturing setting with noise, moving equipment, and airborne particles
  • Required use of safety equipment (PPE, hearing, eye protection)
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 70 lbs. (100 lbs. with assistance)
  • Hands-on role requiring physical activity and use of tools


Schedule

  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
