JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Stuckeman School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture shop seeks to hire numerous students throughout the academic year, for part-time positions. These positions will assist the general shop full-time staff.
Required Experience:
Operating shop machinery such as:

Table Saws

  • Band Saws
  • Miter Saws
  • Drill Presses
  • Sanders
  • Thorough knowledge of shop safety practices and ability to communicate with others.
    Primary Duties Include:
  • Cleanup and emptying of dust collection bins
  • Light machine maintenance with cleaning and waxing machine tables
  • Assisting others with machine usage
  • Designing and/or building small projects in the Stuckeman Building
