Title: CNC Machine Operator (1st and 2nd shift)

Reports To: Shop Supervisor and Operations Manager

Summary of Position:

Machine operators may operate various machine shop equipment, maximizing efficiency and accuracy of machine processes. Machines may include: Laser bed, router, break press, lathe, or mill.

Duties amp; Responsibilities

ยท Performs daily startup of machine shop equipment

ยท Troubleshoot machine performance issues

ยท Apply program to laser, maximizing efficiency of cuts and materials usage

ยท Track laser time for accurate job costing

ยท Maintain clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment

ยท Performs other routines duties as assigned by Supervisor, or operations manager

Required Skills amp; Experience

ยท Must be able to perform duties safely, accurately, and efficiently

ยท Must be able to read prints and drawings

ยท Basic language, math and reasoning ability skills are a must

ยท Must work safely, adhering to all company policies
