As a member of the FyterTech team, this position’s primary responsibility is to provide assistance to the maintenance team and machine operators while ensuring machines are in safe working order.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot machines when issues arise as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on various machines within the facility.
  • Assist with general building maintenance when needed.
  • Routine checks of safety systems, alarm system and facility mechanisms.
  • Perform routine housekeeping necessary to maintain the cleanliness and safety of facility.
  • Assist in machine start-ups and change overs.
  • Maintain required productivity and quality levels, suggesting process improvements when possible.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
  • Complete documentation on repairs and preventative maintenance as directed in Upkeep.
  • Maintain maintenance shop spare parts program using CMMS - Upkeep
  • All other tasks as assigned.

High school diploma required, college degree or certifications a plus. Computer literate with common software programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word etc. Working knowledge of tools, power tools and common devices. Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Solid attendance, safety conscious and a team player are a must.
