Job description

Join a team of professionals where you'll be responsible for developing and delivering technical training for employees across the organization to improve knowledge, skills, safety, and performance.

  • Deliver technical training, including math, print reading, GD&T, measurement, machining, and CNC machining.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve training programs, materials, and documentation.
  • Assist with maintaining training equipment, classrooms, and machine shop.
  • Manage training records and learning content within the TURBOCAM Success Portal.
  • Partner with business unit and corporate leadership to identify training needs and close skill gaps with a specific focus on engineering, machining, maintenance, operations, and quality.
  • Ensure training aligns with SOPs, safety, and quality standards.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments and performance metrics.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and safe learning environment.
  • Coach and mentor employees to build technical skills and professional growth.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Bring Your Expertise:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; 4-year degree with emphasis on manufacturing and/or teaching is highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience teaching and training with a demonstrated passion and ability to teach, lead, and encourage others.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably in automotive and/or aerospace.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and instructional skills.
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt training to different learning styles; ability to simplify technical concepts into practical instruction.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proficiency in math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, measurement and machining.
  • Must possess valid driver's license from his/her state of residence.
  • Must have a range of motion sufficient to permit climbing stairs, walking, standing, stooping and crouching for extended periods of time while performing duties.
  • Requires occasional lifting and carrying of 25 lbs. or more and standing for extended periods of time.
