Location: Nashville, TN

Status: Full-time, on-site

Occupation Summary
This occupation requires the independent performance of manual tasks, and assisting skilled and semiskilled workers in the performance of their duties by following specific instructions.
Work Performed
Performs such typical work as helping load and unload stock parts, to and from storage areas or machines such as skin mills, spar mills, or other machine shop equipment as assigned.
Maintains good housekeeping in assigned area, cleaning machines, work areas and benches by sweeping, scraping, wiping, using air pressure or vacuum. Cleans material prior to loading if necessary. Cleans machine beds and work holding equipment. Identifies parts as instructed. Assists in removing and changing cutters. Loads scrap and chips into provided containers. Supplies tools and cutters as requested to operator, returning same to storage area after use. Acts as messenger as required.
Performs duties incidental to the accomplishment of the assigned task.
Each employee will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and housekeeping in his/her work area as directed as well as assuring the accuracy of their work.
Typical Materials, Tools and Equipment
Materials Worked On: Parts, assemblies, materials, tooling, scrap and rubbish.
Materials Worked With: Cleaning compounds, solvents, rags and brushes, wrapping, tying and packaging materials, tags, crayons, stencil ink.
Tools Used: Brushes and brooms, scrapers, pliers, wrenches, scissors, stamps.
Equipment Use: Cranes, tow motors, hand trucks, tote boxes and platforms, fabrication machines, cleaning equipment, oil spray guns, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) months manufacturing or other experience to prove ability and agility for entry Production.
