Job description

Treske Precision Machining, Inc. is a precision machine shop. We serve: Space & Defense, Aerospace, Electronics and Commercial Customers.  We are Technology Driven including Robotic Machine Loading and Inspection. Our Cloud-Based On-The-Clock Training is for all employees. Our own in-house software developers continually improve the flow of information we need to do our daily jobs

Shifts:

Weekday Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

Weekday Swing Monday-Friday 2pm-12:30am w/ differential

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will play a hands-on role in ensuring the efficiency, organization, and cleanliness of our shop floor.
  • Emptying chip bins, operating a forklift staging of part materials.
  • 5s, keeping areas clean and organized
  • Assist machinists in setup tasks, like preparing fixtures and materials. Provide additional hands during loading/unloading operations.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including workstation cleanliness and common area upkeep. Clean and maintain machinery (e.g., briquetter, removing coolant, chip debris, and residue). Empty scrap solids bins, chip bins, and coolant collectors.
  • Assist in checking and maintaining coolant levels, coolant quality, and cleaning chip bins.
  • Learning how to correctly use precision measuring tools, finishing tools, and maintenance tools.
  • Growing your skills to be become a highly skilled Machine Operator and eventually a Machinist!

Job Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Work conducted primarily in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

  • Regular activities include sitting, standing, bending, reaching, navigating stairs, and moving throughout the facility.
  • Must be able to lift light to moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
